I added a couple of new features on the directory.
Now, the most popular site on each day will be listed on the mainpage.
Also, the latest site to be added in the directory will be also listed in the mainpage.

Colours superb, like the logo, very clear and concise, good layout, easy on the eye. Well done.
Web directories can sometimes look to cluttered and complex and be harsh on the eyes, but I find this one quite calming. I am sure it will do extremely well.

Maybe this is out of subject, but what search algorithm do you use on your website ?
I have searched for "link exchange script" and "link exchange" and got the same results. Or should I use any search options like AND, OR, etc. ?
BTW - I very like yout logo it's fun and playful !

Wow noone's got a negative word to say... you done good!
But that's not so helpful for you so I tried to find some criticism and the best I could come up with is that I don't really like the pastel colors of your logo that much... but then again I do quite like it...

looks boring, why not try and jazz it up a little by adding some color or something. And to be honest i think that the general directory is dead, maybe think about making it into a directory that aims at a particular subject, then it becomes a invaluable resource to certain people.

I like the layout. Only suggestion i would have is to try and blend the google ads some more. Unless of course you have good clicks coming in.

Hi Ablaye,
Could you possibly have :
1. a logo that that is perhaps a little more in-line with your web directory - maybe a graphic that shows a pile of info "neatly boxed"
2. I am wondering how you "differentiate" yourself from other web resource directories. Maybe you could have a list of "recent" views (perhaps)

You need to adjust your margins, the left has one, the right doesn't (in Firefox)
There is also a slight horziontal scroll at 800x600
First impressions was "oh ya another link farm" but once looking into it I see it isn't (doesn't mean I trust it)
I think you need to add a link to Categories on the top navigation, as the search results display which category they are from but no way to look at others (unless you go back to the index).
This is one of my pet peeves, and a reason I wouldn't be back.
On the index i see Entertainment has 16 listings, i click on the heading but there are only 3 in there. Don't fake your stats/results.

Oh my... another search engine.
Likes:
- Basic and clean. Worked for Google right?
Dislikes:
- Lack of an about page. What is this site? Why is it better then Google or Yahoo?
- Again, why do we need another search engine? Whats different?
- Search results are not specific to search term (looked up Toys and I get all type of stuff back).
The search engine business is pretty tough and each one is coming up with new tools and "angles". Lookat Yahoo who just introduced their Startpage and integrated email systems. Look at Google who has just bought a wiki site and will implement cross searching with the wikis.
Like the prior entry, first thought is "oh boy..."

compared to many directories, yours appears fresh, clean and uncluttered. hopefully this can continue when you begin to list more sites. i'll certainly be adding mine as soon as i get some cash together!
