I think the new site with the two column display looks better. The content section is still hard to read because it is center justified. If I were you I would left justify the content to make it easy to read.

Alot should be two words.... A Lot.
That slogan, if that's what you call it .. doesn't really do it for me.

I like the newer one much better. Easier on the eyes, and easier to read. If it were two different competitors I would definatly go for the newer site.

Thanks for all of the replies. We set the new page live(after the bugs were worked out). We let it ride for a few days and business plummeted! We switched back to the old and business picked back up....Guess simple wins.....

and I'd go with 2 columns also.
to me it looks a bit old fashioned but I cant put my finger on why, I'm not very good with that sort of stuff myself
