My posts keep seeming to disappear, oh well. I made this new layout for my personal site and never used it. I was thinking of doing so now, but maybe it's too bland? I'd appreciate any comments or suggestions - here it is: http://members.tripod.com/fringe_head/layouts/w00t.html

I don't think its too bland. Its simple but pretty strikeing. I think it looks good.
I would possibly not make the main text black though as its a bit of a pain to read on grey.
Otherwise, mighty fine!

Looks pretty good, but needs a little tinkering. I would move the design all the way to the top of the page - or at least almost all the way. Also get rid of that blue bar on the left side. Try to use more of the light blue and/or the bright yellow in the rest of the design. I like the cityscape idea.

I might try making the box where the text goes white...It would really help make the site pop more.

While being forced to viewing in NS (I'm at school-->only NS) I saw that the page keeps on loading, the top-image never comes through. The browser kinda hangs while opening the site in NS. I'll try to view it in IE later this day. (What I saw was good)
