Ill be brief... You have a good header pic that gives me the idea about the site immediately since the name also dictates it... Although I like your simple and clean design, Im a bit concerned the text styes for the content area and the text style on the left navigation arent similar, the other is on a verdana family and the links are on the times... The background cut could have been done better, maybe use a gradient for the light blue part, move the blue band a little on the center vertically and make it plain on top... Also that shade of Blue is not quite working, maybe try and use some of the colors on the Pic... These are just my opinion, but I see you started off good, a little edit here and there will do the trick....

Very nice.
One thing I would change is font of your left menu, times new roman doesn't look good to me
