does this work in Netscape?

As some of you know, I don't have NN installed on my home PC. I just wanna know if it looks anything like IE.

Someday..... Someday... I'll get around to installing NN.....

Thanks,

Yeah, I get that error as well with NS 4.7. Here's the exact error:

Quote: JavaScript Error:
http://www.thepushpin.com/javascripts/random_colors.html,
line 63:

rc_text1 is not defined.

Max,

You'll have to install Netscape 4.7 & 6, many things are handled differently in scripting (especially layers) between the two, it's a real nightmare.

The box shows up - but this is the message that appears for me in the left hand side:

Currently, this
doesn't work
for Netscape.

I have Netscape communicator 4.72.

ya, I added that the other day (after people told me that it wasn't working).

If you view it in IE, you'll be able to use the script.... perfectly.

since N6 doesn't support layers (is that right?), should authors simply look to stop using them in general?
