Well, I don't know if any of you "foreigners" have heard of this, but it's a national craze in the national newspapers here in the UK, so I thought I'd make a website about it.

sudoku.heebie.co.uk

and is facing competition from:

www.sudoku.com

Please let me know what you think!!!

heebie.co.uk has arrived. Don't get the heebie jeebies.

First impressions, it is not as easy to get into as the sudoku.com site. That has the challenge prominently in place, and nice graphics. Your website is small text and an effort to read. The average surfer doesn't do effort, they do laziness, and you need to design for this.

More white space between content and a bigger text size for a synopsis would give you the edge.

Nice idea - are you going to be branching into Algebra or Bible Code next????

I'm all for a theme and everything, but, I think your site is a bit too themed, it's mostly shades of the same colour, and it's hard to find something to focus on. Try getting some sort of contrasting colour in the site so that there is something for the eyes to focus on.

I also second the bigger text Smiling

I think you need to have an example and a very brief "what is Su Doku" right on the homepage. Even after reading your about page it didn't make much sense to me.

Yes, I will try and come up with a logo. Other than a mini "Su Soku" what else is there?
I was actually thinking of putting more info on the front page, perhaps a picture or two?
Any more comments welcome, perhaps one from Megan?

I like the colours, not sure they go with a brain teaser thou.
Biggest gripe would be the top row of links beside the search going bigger on hover, plus you already have those links down the left.

Interesting site, it looks clean and cluttered at the same time... I don't know how it's possible, but, somehow, you've managed to do it Sticking out tongue

With your navigation, it's really nice but on hover, the white text is a bit hard to read, perhaps if you changed it a darker colour? Like the teal you have up the top of the page.

The babel fish and other image at the bottom looks quite our of place, perhaps put it as a link in the navigation would be a better idea?

Also, with the login form below the navigation, why don't you align it up with the navigation? It looks a bit distorted with it so close to the edge.

Here we have another (and hopefully final) redesign. I really want to be nit-picked at - what's good / bad about the site; the design, navigation, content etc.

Are there any suggestions why there is such a high bounce rate on the front page?

Many thanks

Hi, as a big fan of the game I think your site is very nice. The design is great and the navigation is easy.
I think you should highlight the words a little bit

I really like the site. I pulled it up to take a look at it and my fiance is really into this game so of course she was happy about it. I really like the layout. Easy navigation through out the site. I love the top logo i think it really fits the site. Allot of good information about the game and even making your own. Really nice site great job. I will be visiting it frequently.
