It's back and ready for action. It should display correctly in every latest browser as I have personally tested them, but if I missed something, please let me know.
A few things that I am planning on before officially opening:
- Adding 6 or 7 more articles and finding a few regulars to begin contributing weekly (or more often)
- Adding some actual templates to the "Free Templates" page
- Finishing "GX News", which will be a news-publishing script available from Graphic X

Hello mate,
First impressions when i get to the site...it doesnt display correctly. im using firfox, but your site is aligned left, and takes up only half of my screen size, if its meant to be this width, id personally align the site center, like my website www.swiftmediauk.co.uk.
Your top banner, i think should be a bit more detailed. I like plain but its a little too plain for me. If your a web design company i think its good to reflect this in your sites design.

I agree with swiftmed, as a design/help company, your homesite should reflect what you are capable of providing! Everything on the site is currently very uniform and square with standard fonts. It might be nice to apply some style classes that jazz up the look and feel of the site.
On the other hand, the layout and content is straight forward and easy to follow!
I also get the problem with Firefox aligning to the left rather than central :-
TIP: I always use Firefox for previewing my sites in design phase, as with a click of the mouse in the lower right hand corner you can automatically switch the rendering to IE and back again without any hassel so you know what the majority of users will be getting!

Thanks for the critiques and advice. I'm working on aligning it to the center which it is supposed to do. If anyone could quickly tell me how I could align it to the center that would be great because the way I am doing it apparently is not working. I have an idea I am going to try later on tonight when I get home though.

The site is a bit bland. It's plain and for what you offer, tools for web designers etc. you had better make a GREAT first impression. Because if I come to a site that aims to appeal to an expert then it should have elements that leave me in AWE!
Spice up the site with a splash or 2 of color here and there.

I would try and use the whole page and not try to center everything. If you are going to try and sell yourself as a website developer/help site, you want your website to look professional. I agree with early quotes, I would look to enhance your graphics and use of fonts to separate yourself from other sites. You may want to think about displaying some templates, give some examples.

It's not currently paid. We simply create free templates for organizations/businesses and offer help to aspiring webmasters.
And to those of you who said something about using the whole screen, there is an option for either a fixed width or fluid design right above the navigation. I meant to mention that earlier.

My first impression when I visited your site was that you'd gone for the simple yet professional look, and in my opinion this has worked out well. The site as a whole doesn't seem to be centred in Firefox however.
Your graphics and general layout is excellent. And from what I can see you are really making an effort with the content. Overall you have a solid base to work on. Keep adding new and more content, and just keep spreading the word!
