Like the look of it and the idea is brilliant. Had a couple of chuckles at some of the threads. You might want to look at the colour of some of the text on that dark blue background though -

As I found it very difficult to read and had to highlight it first. - maybe change the colour to a very pale blue or even white.

A tip - orange and blue don't go anymore. Well, not in such stark contrast.

For colour schemes, I would suggest taking a look at ColorSchemer search schemes.

Other than that, I can't really comment on the design, as you haven't done anything major to it, other than strip it of it's default skin. Good luck with it though.

P.S. To say you only launched it this week, you've got a good member count already!

Good idea nice looking site but the blue started to annoy me a bit after a while, I would'nt be able to spend very long on there

Too many Google Ads. You have Google in four spots on the page. I think that when a site is saturated with Google, the visitor gets the impression that the site owner is not serious about the site and would rather make a nickle on the Google ads. I would bounce the minute i get to your site because of that.

Other then that, it's just a forum. No real design anywhere.

The forum is a built in application with no user coding, submit a website which is fully developed by you, so we can review it.

Anyway your forum website is ok.

Thanks.

I tlike the look and feel of the forum, I think it is relevent....I thought the topics were unique, such as The Road Rage Forum...good idea....I just signed up for an account and did some posts. One thing I would change is not ask for the birthday first thing. You will turn some people away. I realize they have the option of hiding it, but you do not tell them that untill they are editing their profile later. Other than that, looks like a winner!

ha - just had a good laugh and cry at some of your topics, so enjoyed the general content. the two things that i would comment on from a lay person is that some pages layout completely different, in different colours and spreads. i would be put off going too much further in the pages due to this - it was also difficult to go through many pages without going through the full registration. this is fine but will put off anyone wanting to have a good rootle (sorry english - rummage/look(!)) through the site before signing up.

other than that i liked the irreverance and topicality of the pages and therefore the spread that it gives.

good show.

I agree with the person who said that there are way too many google ads.
Also, your bright blue background is horrible. You have the default vbulletin skin. I would suggest that you make a custom skin or hire a freelance designer to do it.

i agree with the people that say the color should be toned down a bit...
its not bad though overall.....

I am not very excited about the google ads on your home page ( the big rectangular block). While I am not an expert at ad placements, I certainly do not think it's very exciting to see a huge block of ad before you can see any real content of the site. Just my two cents.

Gozee.

I would agree and to take it a step futher, I would adjust the Google ads (which you probably plan on keeping) in the grey box to make them horizontal and not vertical, which is currently on the page as of 2/14/07.

At the time of writing, you only seem to have eight posts yourself. Please restrict your comments to useful, constructive criticism. Thanks.

Also, to the person who commented on the fact that the forum is run off a program which requires no user input, I say this: there are many different aspects to a website, just one of them is the sofware (if any) the site's run off. Even with a fully-automated program such as the one we see here, there are still many feedback opportunities which are available, and indeed have been addressed here. Colour schemes, advertisements and choice of sotware would be naming a few.

In terms of the actual website, I agree with all that has been said before me: change the colour scheme and scrap the adverts!

Hey, I have to agree with the rest. The blue is alright if that's what you really want, but when you get towards the bottom and try to read that text taht is dark...it just kills the eyes.

Also, I am no google adsense expert as I just started my self a few months ago, but it seems you do have way too many ads on your page. You may want to try just one block of ads first and go from there. Right now that huge google ad up top just takes away from your site. Hope that helps.
