I have a forum for my site at the moment but its not really good, i only kept it bcause it was easy for me to put into my site. I would like a forum like this one, does anyone know where i can get one? I have visited ikonboard and this other one but i couldnt install them as im not very good with this stuff. I want a good forum thats easy to download! PLEASE HELP!

This forum soft is called vBulletin and is very popular piece of PHP/MySQL board around. It has good history; it's stable, fast and efficient. You can get it (rather buy it) from:

But, if you are looking for similar board for free, here's good choice:
http://www.phpbb.com
or
http://www.openbb.com
Otherwise, choose IkonBoard forums if your server does not offer PHP/MySQL.

By "easy", do you want something that doesn't require local setup on your part? Then you might look at something like ezboard (beware: ads). Otherwise, Enigmatic pretty much covered it.

I'm not a forum expert but the one that I use is ikonboard. It is completely free, easy to set up, and has all the features that I could think of ever using.

I have been toying with Burning Board. It is still in kind of a beta mode but it looks and works pretty well. Some of the docs are in German. I have also heard that it will be renamed to wbulletin once out of beta. It is open source so it beats paying the $160 that vbull charges.

I also have tested the Burning Board and found it very fast. Reminds me much of vBullentin. Definitelly it's worth of trying out.

Wow! This looks great...but how do I download one?
