I want to host my own "Live" webcam website.

Where users can signup, download some software or connet to my server and have video chats or watch someone elses cam.

Ive seen this on a few websites, and a few of the websites don't even look professional. I know its out there somewhere, anyone know where?

Anyone help?

Im not 100% sure but i think you can do that in Java. I came across a servise onece that would take care of it for a monthly rate.

I cloned ifriends.com for a client a few months back - took about a month and a half to write all the code, cost them a pretty penny too.

There are many free java clients out there (even some flash) that stream your web cam. Run a free small chat client next to it and your in business, just replicate it behind a content management system.

However if ur looking a system like ifriends, I doubt you will find it as a whole package anywhere.

Just a few insights Smiling Only my thoughts.
