What would I need to learn to create a website where the user could input information. The information would then be placed on a new page, with a link on the original. I guess in principal, the idea is sort of like a forum. Any ideas on where to start? Is there an "easy" way to do it? (free source code, etc?) Thanks in advance for any help I can get!

Like a wiki? There are some good free wiki hosts or you can download a wiki script and be more customisable...

not necessarily like a wiki... I don't want just anyone to be able to edit it. I want anybody to be able to post ideas, and then other people can comment on it, but not change it. Would something like Joomla be what i'm looking for? or should i learn a server side language... and where should i start?
