Andy206UK, I have tried to do it, could you please take a look at the homepage of my site. On the left hand side are two feeds, have I done it right?
JoseffB, I downloaded the DW8 extension, but couldn't seem to get it working , its in the extension manager folder, but when I look for it in the Insert section, its nowhere to be found.
Your links are fine, however people generally link to their own feeds rather than to those generated by other sites. People will generally open that URL and paste it into their feed reader application to read later. Personally I would put a small header above them something like 'recommended RSS feeds' so people can clearly see that it's not your content your linking to.

Yes. If you really dont want to get into the weeds you can download the free Dreamweaver Extensions at http://www.tecnorama.org/list.php?id_tipo=5.
It makes incorporating RSS feeds into your web site a snap. It's named RSS feed reader Extension.

In your local settings>macrodmedia folder you will see config/extensions (something like that)
if your using Phakt you will need to copy everything the php folder to the php4 folder.
other then that I dont know too much about extensions.
If your having trouble use the comment onthe download page for the rss reader extension and ask the extension author -- he's pretty responsive.
