how can i make a "Rate this" option to my website? for example the one you see at various download sites and you have the option to rate the download by clicking the "star" did you guys get me?

Have you checked out hotscripts.com? I did a quick search and found this website http://www.cloudnineinteractive.co.uk. Click on "Stuff For You" and check out the script they have there called "5 Star Voting." It is programmed in PHP so you must have PHP on your server.

do you have anything else rather than cloudnineinteractive.co.uk? because it requires php..is their any javascript for it

You need a server side language like PHP, ASP etc and ideally a database to keep the results in. Javascript is client side and doesn't have a way to store the information

I doubt javascript can do it. You need some way to store the data and JS can't do that (I think.) Your only other option is CGI but I have never used it before.

EDIT: Looks like Busy and I posted at the same time. Guess I was right.
