What do you need to do with your site? There are many content management systems available. The best one for you depends on what you need to do with your site. For a more robust system with lots of functionality, try Drupal. For something simpler suitable for a small site or blog, wordpress might work.

I find 'joomla' or 'mambo' very easy to customise and administrate with lot's of ways to expand using free modules you can do practically anything....
If you want an online store 'zencart' or 'oscommerce' will give all you need
'Open Realty' is ideal for real estate and can be easily adapted to used for Auto Sales
All the above are easy to administrate and adapt visually with brilliant support forums...
