I find 'joomla' or 'mambo' very easy to customise and administrate with lot's of ways to expand using free modules you can do practically anything....
If you want an online store 'zencart' or 'oscommerce' will give all you need
'Open Realty' is ideal for real estate and can be easily adapted to used for Auto Sales
All the above are easy to administrate and adapt visually with brilliant support forums...
