Hi guys,

Just recently, I've had a bit of a problem setting osCommerce up - although the problem actually lies in the setting up of the Simple Template Mod...

The main problem is that once I upload all files to my server, I cannot tell when I have made any changes in the sts_template.htm. I've asked at the official forums, but an 85 page thread results in me being ignored and then I kinda figured that this is the best place for responses. Smiling

So if you could help me out in fixing this error, I'd be over the moon because I really want to modify the bland design that I currently have. Smiling

OsCommerce sucks! (my opinion only if their legal team are spying).

In all seriousness it's essentially a good piece of kit but another open source team have taken it apart and made it better - zencart.com. I'd check them out, their community is A1 and you certainly won't get ignored.

We use zen for most of our clients and it's a piece of cake getting it up and running the way you need/want.

Not a solution to your current problem but pause for thought perhaps?
