I have a web page that i manage. i have alot of other people who need to be able to upload their work to be veiwed by all. but they dont know html or care to ever learn. how can i create a form sort of like a blog or perhaps myspace like to do this.

Title: lkjaldfkjaldjkflajkdf

Body: alkjdsflkjadljkfasdkfja;f
dklfja;ldsjf;alsdkjf;lasjdk
ds;lkfjasd;ljfsa;ljs

that way they go to their information entry page and type in what ever they want, it gets updated and bam i am eliminated from the scene. would this involve php/xml or what.

any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance

You'd have to use a server side language like PHP, ASP etc to get it into a database.

I take it the people have to register before they can upload?
If they do then no doubt they are using a database already, then you just use the members id number to sort it all by.

There is an editor floating around, similar to the 'go advanced' reply on here where as people can add all the bits without knowing any of it, but I'm not sure where you get it from, but you'd still need the database to store the information.

Or you could use a CMS (content mangerment system), there are a couple of threads around here on which people perfer, I believe joomla being one of them

<?bhb if(broken){ echo("It wasn't me Smiling "); } ?>

Some people are like slinkies, they dont really serve any purpose but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs ...

You might be able to use a blog script for this as well. They usually have all the functionality you need, including multiple users. It just depends on how you want the information displayed in the end.
