I am extremely mad at YouTube's new embed player... it really ruins how I've been using it in client's sites. Anyone feel the same? Anyone know of a workaround?

This is my opinion, but I feel that YouTube videos should never be embedded in professional sites. Too many things are out of your control that can then affect your web site.

For embedded Flash videos, I've tried out SWiSH Video2, and it worked great the one time I used it. If I need it again, I will definitely buy it. $50, but well worth it if you do any amount of video embedding.

You can see what I did with it on this site, in the demonstration video on the right.

Well, I had some success with SWFObject - a JavaScript solution to embedding Flash. I used it for a YouTube video:

I switched to Google Video also. Great stuff, same video is a little better quality.

What's the best format for streaming a video that I would upload actually onto my site?
