I have a client that needs to send out an email newsletter to over 1 million of his recipients. He does not want to use a third party. Does anyone know what are the best services to use for in-house mailing.
I've already heard about Sparklist.com and Lsoft.com but are there any others that can be used?

Moved to site tools. I don't know of any offhand but maybe someone in here has a recommendation.

I don't know of any either. Have you tried searching http://hotscripts.com and http://resourceindex.com?

If there is no answer on Google, then there is no question.

Take a look at Arrow. I haven't used it for mass mailings, just the normal mailing list manager, but the capability is there. http://www.jadebox.com/arrow/

I recently started using one called Dave's Mailing List Manager.
The URL is :

I have used it to send out e-mails to hundreds of people. It says it has been tested with over 100,000 people and works.
