Never attempted a real estate site before. My client wants her "listings" page to link directly to MLS with her listings coming up first. Can someone tell me how to get started?

Wow, well there's got to be a number of ways of doing this. Also depends greatly on what methods MLS will allow you to access their listings, this is your first port of call. Do they offer a JavaScript API, or an RSS feed, or even an RPC interface?

I can guess at how to do it, I'd probably grab a copy of Drupal, then switch on the Aggregator module (turns RSS feed items into pages), then use the Views module and probably the CCK module too. That's what I'd start looking at, but then that's me, and there are probably a number of different ways of accessing those listings and mine might not be best. Smiling
