A sitemap is basicaly all the pages of your site.
If you have lots of sections you could include each seperate section (a seperate file for each section) but some could see maintaining that as more work. what are you wanting to do?
<?bhb if(broken){ echo("It wasn't me
"); } ?>

What about having an image map? "Draw" out all you main sections and/or sub-sections onto an image, splice it up and link them.

I think an image map would be the best way to go.

Joyce, you can generate the site map using the db or drilling through the directories, depending on how your site is built.

Joyce asked for a way to make site maps that didn't require her to update it in the code. Image maps require a great deal of code updating as well as updating the image itself, as well as setting the targets. How is this a faster, easier solution?
Image maps are NOT site maps. Despite both using the word "map". You can certainly represent the site map using an image map, but it's hardly meeting her stated requirements.
Is that better?

thanks for all the replies. i already have a sitemap, but it's hard coded. so if there is any changes, i need to change part by part, so i think it's not a good way to do it.
use db?? how the design of database would be??
this is my sitemap:

I think a database would be a way to go but i'm just not sure if that is possible or how you would go about doing it :S sorry
