im very new to making websites, but im half-way there, im looking for a good website building program !except from dreamweaver!, that uses pages as htmls, because, ive tryed hosting my website on names.co.uk and i used bluevoda website bulider and it did not work, i need a website builder(preferably free) to build my website and upload it us ftp(html pages)

If you mean WYSIWYG page builder and excluding from the list dreamweaver then I suggest simply to use the old Mozilla Page maker ... Dont even think of using frontpage. And if your pertaining to an online page builder, then if you have Cpanel as admin panel it has a page builder built in to it, just look for it in your main panel.
Whats the problem with FTP using bluevoda if I may ask?

Do not use Frontpage, it's a terrible product that generates truly awful code. If you ever try doing anything for yourself: it ruins it!
Nvu is reasonable (and free), Quanta is better (and also free), but I believe it only works on Linux.

I know but you got to start somewhere and if you're a beginner it really helps. When you realize it inserts awful portions of code you didn't intend (but looks decent on screen) then you can start weaning yourself off and doing it the right way.

Just kidding....have u tried geocities???? I am not tellling you to host your site there... just build your site there on Yahoo Page Builder which is very easy to use and user friendly, and then move it to your host....
