Hi Everybody!
I am planning to build a website.
The website will have general news,sports news and
finanancial news.
How do I update my news content regularly.Are there any
free content providers so that I can update my page with
their news?If there are no good free content providers
what are the good paid services?
Also my page will have forums any good free or paid s/w
for forums?

ummm what's the point inmaking a site with news if your just gonna copy from soneone elses site?

The point is to compile news specific to a topic, such as a blog that just carries web design news, or one that follows the US foreign policy actions (warblog), et cetera.

Renegade, those aren't "content providers". They are news sources, but don't specifically provide news content for other sites.
I'm not sure about CNN, though.
xtramsn is mostly local NZ stuff... also not a content provider.

Hi!
I did a search as Brain suggested.
Didn't come across anything interesting.
Talked to moreover and yellowbrix(isyndicate) but they are way too expensive for me.Moreover is charging $5500/year and yellowbrix($1200/month+$1000 setup fee).
Does anybody know anything cheaper.

I've been using this news provider for my website. http://interestalert.com/ It has many diffent types of news available that will be updated for you and it also has an affilate program that will pay you to place their news in your website. I doubt though that this pays...I just use thier service because it provides free news. Hope this helps.

A programmer should be able to pull news and other info you want from just about any site using a module called "LWP Simple". That will also the most up to date news. Good Luck!
