i am loooking for a priofessinal gallery maker! 1 of those programs that make all your links, thums and navagation for u...BUt a really professional 1 with like templates and good colours....etc
have any ideas...

Macromedia Dreamweaver with Macromedia Fireworks work very good together for creating a gallery. All you have to do is give them the paths, how many images you want on each lines, etc and it will create it all for you.

I have used Gallery on a bunch of different sites. It works pretty well. With it you have to upload each picture in an album, name it if you want and give it a description. It allows others to view it as a slideshow or to leave comments on the picture and it also creates a thumbnail for you. Fireworks and Photoshop both will create a photo gallery for you. But neither will really give you an ongoing solution. In other words, as you add pictures you will have to manually edit your pages to include them. If you just wanted to drop them into a directory and have them automatically display, I suppose that you could write a script to do that for you.

I just remembered Iranview does it, makes thumbnails, the html and other stuff like slideshows and its free
