I have a site which I have created solely in flash. The only problem is I have articles which I would like to include on the site. Could someone please explain how I can select a small area for the writing to go and then a scroll is needed in order to view the rest of the text in this box. At the moment the text just overlaps everything.

(I don't know much about this, and this could be a ignorant answer/misread by me.)
I think it depends on which tool/suite you use. If you use Macromedia products, you could search for a 'script' of some sort to help you with that. It's definately within the flash tool.
