I have a new site that has recently been indexed by Google. However I can only find my site when I search the 'web' when I try to search with 'pages from the UK' it can't be found. Someone has suggested it's because my domain is .com. If I am unable to be found in pages from the UK it will possibly be a problem as my target market is UK based. Can anyone offer a solution.

I think they might also look at where your site is hosted - is it hosted in the UK? Getting a .co.uk domain would help too.

I think it maybe has no relation with the .com,even a .co.uk domain maybe help.
I think your host isn't in UK,the spider will judge the IP,So it will take it into the IP location.
You had better change a host.
If yo can't ,try some backlink from some UK website.
I highly recommend reliable web hosting
