i want to know how much will the IT certifications will help in hosting industry and how good are certmagic.com prep for IT certifications .

A few years ago I was looking at doing some of those exams but when asked employees about their worth it wasn't worth it.
If certmagic costs then it's a waste of money, heaps of free info out there but at the end of the day certs show you know how to read and answer questions, a portfolio shows you can do the work

As far as hosting is concern, i dont see a certification is necessary, you need to acquire knowledge and skills either if you are looking for a job or starting your own business.

I think certs are good for certian areas like A+, Cisco, and other technical areas that you cant really show on paper but you also need experience in the field as well.
