Is it possible to avoid resetting my hit counter to zero?
I'm ditching Cold Fusion, as I'm changing to a hosting service that doesn't support CF. But my current homepage and counter use CF (#numberformat(getusers.total,',')#).
Is there any way to install a non-CF counter without reseting the hits to zero? I've had this page for years, have had a good number of visitors, and really want to avoid resetting to zero if at all possible.

I think most hit counters allow you to specify the starting figure.

May be I don`t understand what you whant, but I can advise you to use counter like this -> onlinepulse.net. You can setup startup value as you wish.

Most free hit counter services allow you to choose a starting counter value.
