I run a website with local news, which gets updated every month...however, most visitors to the website get to see pages that were stored on their computers, and don't see the latest webpages (unless they press F5)
- How can I make sure that any visitor gets to see the latest webpage, without having to press F5?

How are your pages displayed - database or plain HTML? and how are they named; ie 2007-10-03.html, or latest.html, or index.php?show=new ...
<?bhb if(broken){ echo("It wasn't me
"); } ?>

I don't know about the rest of you but a webpage that refreshes itself while I'm reading it greatly annoys me. I know it's for the sake of providing up to the minute coverage, but I am well aware (and I assume most news sites readers) that the news changes but it will change at our discretion, not the site's.
I prefer F5'ing if I want the latest content; that way its a user preference on how interactive they want a news site to be.
But that's just me.
