I'm new to this forum (maybe it's the wrong one) and I would like to ask if someone could recommend a decent, not so expensive, standalone auction software for a small auction website?

Really? I'm surprised... I actually used to make and sell auction software myself many moons ago... WebChalkboard Auction Software hehe Google it if you're interested. But stopped working on it years ago. I always thought that PHP Auction looked really good... Never used it myself mind and looks can be deceiving. Anyone else got any experience with it or other software?

I did look up your software and it seems to be for a single seller site.
What I'm looking for is something like they use on this site: my-hammer.de.

It doesn't seem to be a reverse auction and I don't see it anywhere near the functionality of my-hammer.de.

No, it is not reversed auction. And i think it has similarities with myhammer, of course it's not the same.
