using a 3rd party platform for my sites credentials
I want to know if anyone has used a 3rd party system like google, yahoo or even facebook to use as your sites credentials / login system?
If so which have you used and is it worth using or should I be better building my own login system?
I will be building a marketplace for buying and selling as well as user generated content / community.

You may want to look in to http://openid.net/ - it's gaining quite a bit of popularity.

Renegade is right, OpenID is gaining quite a bit of popularity. I think most sites create their own login systems, but then allow people to login using Facebook/OpenID/whatever.
IMO you should build your own, but build it so it can be extended using third-party login services.
