Updating Drupal Core
I have a message to update my Drupal core from version 7.14 to 7.15. Can someone help direct me as to the best method to do this? Would I use Fantastico?

This is only optional, it's up-to you if you want to update the Drupal version of your website. The update is only minor it will do no harm on your website. It might help your website, there might be security fixes on the update. This post might be helpful: https://www.drupal.org/node/112092
