A member of TWF asked me to create a basic php form for reciprocal link submissions.

I adapted a basic script from HotScripts.

I added some basic validation for the email and the url.

For spam control, I added a test if the mouse is over the submit button (this usually works pretty well, and is much less annoying than captcha)

Since TWF does not permit attachment of zip files, you can download the 3 files here

feedback.php and thanks html need some minor customizations for your needs. You will probably need to change the form.

One nice feature is you can add or remove form fields without modifying the php script. It will also remove any malicious characters from the input.

Adapted from a very basic HotScripts script, I added some css handles and styles, basic validation of email and URL, and mouseover spam protection.

This is exactly what the Projects section was made for btw. Smiling

I've been wanting to create an introduction to that section for a while, but just haven't had the time. I will get around to it eventually!

cool

I have updated the form.html file, to better align the labels and fields... incorporated in the demo and the zip distro

I have used the form, and was using it a while back, when it was first done by Decibel.Places.

I am very happy with the form, and I have found it very easy to use, and modify.
