Hello guys! Yesterday I was investigating Marblehost.com and found out they they offered more than only free domain name registration. You may get absolutely free domain for life. When you sign up, they will register your domain name for 1 year. Every next year, they will renew your domain for additional year. The thing is that a free domain name for life is offered for all their clients which purchase any web hosting plan.
It seems to me that it is very attractive offer. What do you think about registering domain name with one and the same company? Thanks in advance.

Basicly it is a renewal. I believe that when you renew your account then you get a free domain name again that year.

Many companies offer it but do not word it like Marblehost.com do.

My Company Corporate Internet Solutions offer it, because each time you renew your hosting, you get your domain renewed aswel.

Best Regards,
Mike

I know lots of people say dont do it but i prefer to get the name and hosting from the same company as long as they are established and have good reviews.

Most web hosting companies now offer the same, a free domain for life, some even up to 5 domains free. For me I don't get it from them as I might sell the site so I register it from other domain registrar.

Really? I do not think the most hosting providers do that, only some of them...

Moreover, most of those who offer a domain names within hosting plan rin fact do not give a domain name to the user, but, 'allow user to use domain which is registered in the name of the company' and when you would try to transfer or sell it - they will say: sorry Operation impossible. All rights are owned by *YourHostingProvider*, for example...

I am not really sure which website hosting company to choose these days.

I am now using my own reseller website hosting as i trust it and put enough trust in it as to sell it.

I have not really got much faith in many other companies since i do not work for them and have not tried there services at first hand; like i have with Corporate Internet Solutions. We are partnered with a company known as LiquidNet whom i also trust.

Oh well,
Good Luck with the search.

Best of Luck,
Mike
