Reseller Hosts + Good Support ? -

Hello,

We're sick and tired of our current hosting supplier and that abominable technical support and customer liason.

We develop professional Perl CGI script products and will soon be offering Web Design and Hosting solutions.

To do this we need a hosting company that offers a good resellers program, a stable environment, large amounts of space and fast connections.

We're willing to pay just a little more if we can also have *good* technical and customer support for us. We're tired of one line explainations (if we're lucky) to problems, and lack of customer consideration.

If anyone could recommend a hosting company, or actually runs one that make make the above commitments, we'd love to hear from you here or via email.

Hi Jonathan,
I use http://www.CommuniTech.net to host my Webmaster Promotion/Resource site http://www.what-next.com in fact these forums are also being run on CT servers.
They have always been very impressive feature-wise, but have recently improved vastly in the tech support department.
Oh yeah, I only pay $17 a month, though they are going o increase prices soon.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies, we're looking into several of them.

One question:

Has anyone got experience of the following web host?
http://www.u2me3.com/

I spoke to the owner at Host Invesgatior, he says he doesnt like them and they are lousy and terrible so they removed it. He wants a good serious Host to be on the list.

I would suggest going with PCISD.com, they offer a really nice referral program where you get customers, and get paid monthly for each customer and they handle all the billing, tech support etc.

Their main site is @

and their referral program is @

Hi Jonathan,

Yes, I do have experience of u2me3.com. I am currently hosted by them and I am on way , running, to bail out.

Don't buy their drill about fast customer support. Sure they will answer your mail, but won't put anything in it you can use.

It took them 2.5 weeks to transfer my domain. I have a .net domain. Somebody logged it as a .com on their server.

They have also not been willing to add pop accounts or anything like it for over 2 months now. They are building a control panel and don't want to "get their quotas wrong"?

Do not go with them.

If you want some more info, feel free to email me.

Regards,

Jes

Hi. I am currently in the process of re-reviewing communitech (after they did not pass their initial examination about two months ago for lack of support). I found their support to be much improved, also. I spoke to the owner, and he showed me their new support system. The spent a LOT of time writing very complex programs, and changed to an SQL database instead of an access one. I think this is probably part of the reason as well as hiring new tech reps.
