Basically I have been challenged to order a domain name which accurately reflects the name of our company..which oddly enough is 'palmbeach!'. The exclamation point is what it is all about. Don't flame me, I didn't come up with the name. However as many of you can already notice, that is not at all domain name friendly. For one palmbeach.com is odviously a 'never gonna get' and an exclamation point can not be used in a domain name. Do i have any outs here? Changing the name is outta the question, as it is well above my pay grade.

Thanks for the help.

I work for a registration company and our advanced search tool returned nothing as available. Why not get creative and register something like palmbeach-wow.com Smiling

Your definatly gonna have to think outside the box on this one. What does the company do? try linking that in, for instance if you make shelves try palmbeach-shelving.com or if you teach surfing consider palmbeach-surfschool.com

Put it this way... unless you have a lot of money to spend you won't have a hope in hell of getting palmbeach.com and punctuation is definatly out of the question.

Really scare their pants off, tell them to give up the domain name or you will sue for copyright infringement, if they are dumb they will fall for it.

that won't work for these people. The word 'picky' comes to mind..but I still look for a more descriptive term. Considering we put on 2 palm beach art fairs, and there are several more in the area. I need the domain name to accurately identify our event..unfortunately it is not seeming possible. I'm going to run some of my ideas by them, and ur idea as well. Thank you for the help.

teammatt I don't know what you are talking about. But ot, that happened to me. When you got a corporate giant breathing down your little neck threatening to breath fire, you give them what they want. Unless of course you think your david.
