Anyone hosted by powweb? What kind of control panel to they have, what kind webmail is it(horde, neomail)? How can they give out 5gigs of bw a day? Are they as good as they sound?

I have 10 sites with Powweb - 4 of them were hacked and defaced yesterday.
Looks like an inside job, as their support docs were hacked as well !

I'd recommend finding somewhere else to host your sites - especially if you're doing them for clients!

I have several sites with them as well, not a single hack to mine. JJRO, do you use front page extensions with your sites? Thats how they are pressuming the hack was exploiting security issues with Frontpage. I know, hard to believe. A microsoft product was hacked. =\

We have a few clients who signed up with PowWeb and I have not heard any complaints from them.

They are good but the support is a little slow. The speed is OK for me. They use their own control panel and email script
