GNU/Linux here, on both server and work machines. I just like software freedom, there are a number of advantages. Personally I like the emphasis on just writing good software, instead of locking the user in to one product.

Its the choice of the user:) On the other hand it depends on an individual for which OS he has more interest and comfortable to use it.

OS? Windows- for desktops, Linux- for servers.
