What do you think about Namecheap, as far as I know they are well known domain registrar and they provide hosting now.

SiberName.com is an appealing domain registrar. They reg domains in different zones (very perspective) and do it very easily.

Why don't hosts put coupons on their sites?

Because coupons are a marketing tool. Hosts put them on other sites (such as forums etc.) to get people to visit their hosting site and hopefully buy their product.
Hosts putting coupons on their own sites would be like this forum putting up advertising for this forum. It doesn't make much sense.
