ok, since I'm having 4 sites on my single digitalspace account, and I nearly am over my 5mb limit I need a new account. It should not be more expensive than $7 per month. I need this:
10mb space
at least 2,5 gb of transfer (Unlimited ok too)
Anonymous ftp
creation of subdomains enabled (or wildcards)
domain hosting (duh)
MySQL
Perl
Well, I guess that's about it, do you know such a host? Beside Digitalspace, which I want to avoid.
Thanks,
Zef Hemel
BTW: It's for my YaBB site (Open Source Bulletin Board)

Hi there!
)
Pair.com is definitely a winner -- they are the only company I consider to be a true competitor to us long-term, as they are one of the best, if not the best, in their network, services, and policies.
Definitely highly recommended.

Hi zef,
I'm just wondering how do you find digitalspace? Good/bad? any opinion?
Since their packages look good to me!
What kind of sites do you have on a single account? Is it sub-domain (sub.domain.com)? or full new domains under one roof??
Thanks

In my opinion their quite good, for small sites. But since my site gets 3k hits a day, it does matter that it is down a few hours sometimes. Further I have hosted 4 sites there: http://www.zefnet.com (where I signed up with), http://www.redirectionguide.net (using UltraDNS), http://www.mailcenter.com.ru (using bn3) and http://www.yabb.com.ru (using bn3).
Nearly over my 5mb limit now. But they're the cheapest you can get (when I signed up it was $2/mnth for 5mb)

Oh, check out http://www.tera-byte.com if you want, they have quite many plans
And also http://www.your-site.com, http://www.hostrocket.com
pair.com doesn't have cgi-bin when signing up with basic plans
I'm using cedant.com and it's pretty good!
Thanks
