Google now Secured with SSL certificate
Google has just launched a secured version of Google.com. It is in beta. You can review their secured site via https://www.google.com. Google Search uses an encrypted connection to Google' datacenters and servers. It helps the data being searched from your computer to google server will be encrypted. This secured channel helps protect your search terms and your search results pages from being intercepted by a third party. This provides you with a more secure and private search experience.

SSL is required to hide your data from others like admin or hackers . In some countries or places where admins block some keyword then you can't even search on the google . In some situation it is good but in maximum , it is not good . So , that is why google starts SSL service . With the help of this you can now search or may seen cached copy of documents .

Hi,
Not only our search but also our accounts that has been related with Google and all Google's features. Just take a look at Gmail when you register it will land you to an SSL of Gmail. Believe me, It's for your security and no more..

I have been noticing that now a days, Google, launches and releases very new and useful features and application.. It is also participating with social media sites, as we see Google introduced a new social media site, google know, knol.google.com..
