I'm looking for a decent Hosting company to purchase a domain name and hosting account. Does anyone have any suggestions to a particular company? I am looking to pay around $5-$10 a month or less if possible as I don't need a huge pro account.

I use surpasshosting.com and they are pretty good. The small hosting account is about $6 a month.

Just as a word of warning. Although many web hosts offer to register your domain name for you it is always best to register it yourself and maintain full control over it. I would recommend NameCheap for a reasonable price.
Having a host control your domain can be a dangerous proposition if you have a future conflict with them.
