I have a website on my reseller account that i was commisioned to do, and now feel i prefer it to be on its own account that i can give to the client. Can anyone recommend a good hosting company in the uk?

Also, what is the procedure to moving a website. Would i need to just save the database and files, then redirect the domain to new hosting account and upload everything? Or is there a way so that the site doesnt go off line?

P.S if anyone on here is offering some hosting i would be interested.

Hello. It seems there are a lot of offers from UK here and over there. Research offer sections.

As far as I know 1&1.com is a good one.

Don't use 1&1 for another other than a cheap UK domain, our clients have had nothing but trouble with their hosting.

We have been using EUKHost for over a year now, great UK company, people can get 15% off with our coupon codes, see www.NetEvolution.co.uk for more info on web hosting coupons

I agree - avoid 1&1

Have a look at Corporate Internet Solutions - with data centers in the UK and California

the owner is a TWF member - and a good bloke Smiling

zanzhosting.com may be alright for you, they had some problems a few months ago, but that was because of a server switch.
