Not sure if this is the right forum but I just want to know for the Domain Registration. Is GoDaddy good? Does anyone have experience with them? I want to register a domain, but I'm only 14 and don't have a job which means cashflow=VERY low. So any people with experience tell me if it's good or not please.

I have only registered one domain, and that was with go daddy, they seem to be the cheapest and from reports I've seen, among the most reliable.
I think you have to pay by credit card thou, not sure if any age restrictions apply.
If you can afford it, go for at least 5-10 years, will save yourself more money

godaddy and joker are the two registrars that I haven't heard any complaints about, only good things. I hope that helps. Smiling

Yes it does. And I *think* I have enough money for the 5 year one. And I'm using my dad's credit card, if he lets me buy it. He doesn't care if I buy it, he just doesn't trust sites like these for some reason. I'll let him come here and read this then.

The only complaint that I have about GoDaddy is that they use Windows Servers and their connections can be quite slow at times. I have registered 10-12 domains with them and transferred a few with not too many problems. The biggest problems were with transfers but those were more than likely the losing registar's problem. New sites usually resolve in about 24hrs. Pretty quick. They also don't have services like Dotster where your site may be up for bid before it expires.

I switched all domains I had control over to goDaddy about a year ago. I haven't had a single problem.

GoDaddy is pretty good from what I've heard. Joker, meanwhile, has been around for ages, yet I've heard a slightly more negative opinion of them. I am content with using 000domains.com, though.
