How much USD is $11.65 CAD? I've never dealt with CAD.
And this sounds really good, I've never seen anything like that before in domain registrars' offers.
I'm just wondering what features are included into Sibername.com hosting plan?

I wasn't talking about shared plans, I had their special offer in mind, the one OP posted in his initial post about Sibername.com domain plus two web host pages included plan.

Right now that would be close to the same in US dollars. We've been hovering around par after rising to about $1.07 a few weeks ago (yes, it's a big deal here).
Thanks for pointing this out, tummy. I'm always on the lookout for Canadian domain registrars (and hosting companies).

If you want to reg a domain name with SiberName.com, it's all right. This company is located in Ottawa, Canada and they have many positive feedbacks in the Internet. Why not reg a domain with them? I think you may try them and then share your experience with us. Good luck.

You can order the plan with them but before that check there support team (knowledge) by emailing them and going online on live chats, see whether they are 24/7. You should check there server configuration, uptime guarantees. Mainly I will recommend to check where they offer 30 days money back guarantee, if yes than its not an big deal. You can order plan with them and check there service in the first 30 days, if everything works fine you can continue or can opt for refund:)

For me personally SiberName.com seems a reliable company that provides not only a domain registartion services. And it's quite naturally that they have a Xmas special. By the way New Year is a good time to reg a new domian and start your business with this company as they provide shared web hosting as well.

Thanks for this thread too, we've just been charged £80 (~CAD120) for a years domain renewal and are looking to transfer our domain names to stop this happening again. These dudes look pretty good.

You're definitely going to want to avoid registrars that are still charging a huge arm & leg for a years domain registration/renewal. Definitely no longer that expensive for your typical domain.

Agreed, when we first bought the domain with this company it was a bargain. Think the company might have been bought out recently though and are passing the cost on to their customers.
