I'm new here but hoping to be around now that I've found the place.
My first enquiry is for adult site web hosts
What will you expect to pay on average in the states?
With your typical small to medium biz design in the UK I'm paying between £35-£50 P.A ($60 ish)
I resell space to all the clients I develop for allocating about 100mb per client.
cgi-bin/php/web stats/email-tel support/databases installed etc. Been sweet as a nut!
.....however they don't accept adult material. so I'm thinking of moving that part of the operation abroad if I can't find a local deal.
So Any advice? Experience to share?

Do a search on one of the hosting search engines.
I haven't looked much at adult hosting but the ones I've seen do tend to charge more for adult sites.

As a result of the legal problems facing adult hosting companies you should expect to pay a high premium for the operation of your service. We've even been advised to remove any adult hosting categories from within our directory.
The law rules that the owner of the server from which the adult material is being "distributed" is liable for its content.

Wow, this is suddently a hot topic on a couple of boards.
There are thousands of places to host an adult site, and most major hosting companies, while they don't PROMOTE it, *do* accept adult sites. Furthermore, you can still get dirt-cheap hosting, too - depending, of course, on how much space and bandwith you require.
