Hello again, everyone.

I'm still working on my hosting site and was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to what should go on the left hand side of my site. It's very drab right now and I've looked through gobs of stock photos but can't find the "perfect" complement.

Thanks in advance. btw, does anyone use the word "gobs" anymore?

Just a suggestion that maybe will spark an idea but how about a muted grid or or maybe a pair of hands coming out of a globe? Ehhhh....I know it sounds stupid but sometimes the wierdest things turn on a light bulb in the old noggin. Laughing out loud

Um, why did this post get moved here (Critiques)??? I'm going to move it back - works better in G&D.

I definitely think this site needs something more. No suitable stock images, eh? I don't even see any empty space on the left - the text part is just bumped right up against the margin. What a lot of hosting sites do is create a set of graphics advertising the plans or features they offer. That could be an idea (see http://www.intersurge.com/ for an example... banner ad just happened to be at the top of the page; he put them on the right side in this case). This design definitely needs more stuff below the header . Try looking around at other hosting sites and see what they're doing.

It was a quick fix and I may stay with it.
