i really don't like magento, because it's heavy
I am using opencart 
if you like wordpress, you can use Woo Commerce too. This is the most customizable eCommerce platform in wordpress for building your online business.

Free. Its Community Edition has a lot of features and it's completely free.
Scalability. Magento was written in PHP, so you can easily add new features and scale your solution.
Thousands of extensions. If you want a feature, probably there is an extension to add it to your store.
