Hey, can anyone out there help me with this?
I need to link to different logos I have scrolling across the screen in an animated gif, but I can't work out how I can create a link from a moving part of an image.

Does anyone know?? PLLEAAASSSEEEE!

Thanks,
Jo

I'm not sure this is possible in an animated gif, I think it would be to your advantage to use a program like flash to accomplish what you described.

You could also take a look at http://wsabstract.com/script/script2/jsslide.shtml which does not require any plug-ins.

Modify it to show different images, linked to different URLs and you could probably achieve the same sort of effect as you want.

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/leftrightslide.htm is another script that might give you what you want.

Thanks for your replies.
Unfortunately I can't use Flash as its for a site which charities will be accessing and I need to make it as accessible as poss, I'm going for NetNav3 and IE3 upwards.

Back the the drawing board! But thanks.
