HTML5 is fifth revision of the HTML,it's yet to under construction.It's main concept to improve language and support some multimedia tag,so easy to use any website.There are not need to learn to HTML5 only learn some tag.

w3schools is pretty good, I use it alot for more advanced CSS stuff that I don't do everyday.
