I'm really bad at navigation for websites :eek:
I need serious help. If you have any examples of great navigation it would be great. If you hve any suggestions it would be great.
One problem though...........I'm new at web designing.....very......new

One way is to think of it as a book, the book has an contents page where it lists chapters and sometimes sub chapters - these are your web pages.
Ideally people should be able to get to any page on your site within 3 clicks (links), but depending on the size of the site there really isn't much excuse for not being able to get there from one.
This forum has a pretty good navigation, from every page the main links are accessible (top links), with minor links at bottom. When viewing a thread or post there is a bread trail navigation trail for quick return to main, sub or sub sub section (I just made sub sub up
)
Make 5 web pages, place a navigation bar (links) on all of them so you can click any number from any page - bingo you can do get navigation
good luck
practice is the key
